Ok, I'm getting fed up with this version of the original campaign. Every time I get into it some bug prevent me from continuing. First download Elanee kept vanishing. I completely re-download the game, totally reinstall it and Neeska is not where she is supposed to be. The soldiers harassing her are standing there menacing the air and the event does not fire. This continues when I load a save from when I first go to Fort Locke.

Frankly, if it wasn't for the fact that it lacks the features added with Storm of Zehir, I would probably go back to using my older disk copy of this game, which never had these problems.

What do you have inside the modules and overrides folders inside ..\Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\ ?

Well the OC doesn't use the added Storm of Zehir features, so you could try this just to rule the GOG version out as the source of your problems.

Did you disable UAC & your antivirus software before installing the game?

Look in the properties/security tab of both your Neverwinter Nights 2 Complete directory & your Documents/Neverwinter Nights 2 directory, & see if you (the user) have Full Control.

Also make sure you have plenty of free space on your C:\ drive. Regardless of where you install the game, it runs from large temporary files in you default Temp directory.

Also check your event viewer log for errors that coincide with when you installed or play NWN2.
Hickory:
Both folders are empty.

I did disable security during the second install, and I have Full Access. As for free space, should 625 odd gigs be enough? ;)

The only real reason the want the SoZ content active is because I wanted to try out as a Duelist; I'd tried most of the other classes to various amounts previously.
What about your event viewer log, any corresponding errors?
