Avlis has a multitude of systems.

Mage Specializations

Want to burn your enemies to a crisp? Then give Pyromancy study a go! As you gain more understanding in Pyromancy you automatically substitute fire instead of the original element.

Want to give someone the cold shoulder check out Cryomancy, same as Pyromancy except well its cold.

Aeromancy, yeah another one of those mancies, this one is lightning.

Wild Mage! Walk on the edge of magic between control and chaos your spells will either fail miserably or increase in power.

Want to predict the future, try out Fatespinning. As a Fatespinner you are able to see a few moments into the future to better aim your spells at the intended target. Since you really cannot see into the future all intended targets of Fatespinners have to roll the save vs the spell twice.

Or how about Shadow Matter Illusion was that a real fireball or a fake one?

White Necromancer the name says it all. Necromancy spells give life to the living and harm the undead.

Transmutant want to be that mage than can transform into various other creatures gaining their attributes, then Transmutant is the way for you.

Psi-Mage, a combination of psionics and magic what more is there to say?
