Having done nothing new the customization is now empty except for the buttons and tool. There is no character to customize and nothing happens when I press the buttons? This is a minor inconvenience as the characters actually appear when playing still annoying though.

Sorry I don't have a solution, but I want this to get seen more, as I have the same problem.

I finally solved the in game models being invisible, but in the customize character screen, it's blank.

Hope this gets solved.
Do you try to open with admin rights ?
I play on XP
I'm having the same issue. I used to own NWN1 and had the same issue with ATI Video cards. The "fix" back then was to make sure Catalyst A.I. was enabled in the ATI control panel.

However, the more recent AMD Catalyst drivers (I have 13.4) do not even have the option to change the Catalyst A.I settings.

I ran Driver Sweeper to remove all traces of the AMD driver and did a clean install. Still can't see characters in customisation screen...

Well, setting it to run in windows xp sp3 compatibility did the trick for me. Make sure no other options are selected on the compatibility tab in the nwmain.exe properties.
Sorry I haven't checked back for a while...

Tried compatibility modes, unfortunately to no avail :(

Will be checking this thread often now, thanks for help everyone

You still having this issue?

Anyway, I currently work around this by messing around with the "Texture Quality" in the Video Options. Sometimes it works right away, and sometimes I need to change the "graphics quality" slider to make it take.

But, I can get it to work, and since I only really need to do it once per character, and I don't create hundreds of characters, I don't really mind futzing with it until it works. I just create a dummy character first to see if it's working.

Later!
Jeff.

Thanks for the advice, ill have a play around with it and hopefully end up getting it just right. The game is worth the time it takes to tweak :D

Thanks a lot!
