So, I got NWN 2, and tried to run it on PlauOnMac, and the wrapper that TallPaul put together, but neither work for me. The TallPaul wrapper worked for NWN, but not NWN 2. I'm running a late 2013 iMac, OSX 10.9.1, 3.5 GHz Intel Core i7, 32 Gb memory, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M 4096 MB. This is my fav RPG ever, even ran great on my last computers. When I run the TallPaul wrapper, game starts but crashes in the first 5 min. Or, if I up the graphics to "High", I get a screen wide image that says, "Texture Missing". I'd really love to be playing this game again, thanks gang.

Take advantage of Bootcamp--that's why OS X includes it as a standard feature. Heaps better than an emulator. With Bootcamp, Windows runs natively on your x86 Mac (since your Mac is a "PC", anyway.) No wrappers, no emulators needed. So long as Apple keeps up the proper Windows drivers for you (if the standard Windows drivers from the peripheral manufacturers don't happen to work well or at all for some reason with Apple's hardware), it's the best possible scenario for you for any Windows game, imo.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot. I really wanted to not put Windows on my machine, but then I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet...Thanks!

Believe me, that's one "bullet" with a sugar coating...;) Truly, if Windows was as bad as many Mac-centered sites erroneously claim--nobody would buy it, would they? Lol....Of course not...;) Here's a tip, though: do *not* seek advice or expertise about Windows from a Mac-oriented website...! Worst Windows advice you'll ever get, truly. I wouldn't load up an OS X site to learn about Windows, and neither should you, just like you would not load up a Windows site to ask about OS X, etc.

Best of luck, and happy gaming!
