It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Evolve is really awesome and is a bit easier than other online LAN services: http://www.evolvehq.com
Updated the OP.
Update the OP.
This is SkywingvL's description of the CE:

"The NWN2 Client Extension is an add-on to the standard NWN2 game client that restores multiplayer server browser functionality (including listing of servers hosted in the game client if the host is using the Client Extension), and brings a wealth of multiplayer-oriented feature improvements and fixes for game client bugs that are designed to improve the gameplay experience for both players and DMs.

Highlights include the ability to list online game servers and PWs in-game, chat improvements including copy and paste support, an improved minimap display, numerous "power user" features for DMs using the DM client, hotbar macros for queuing up multiple buff spellcasts in one button press, and more. Extensive documentation is provided with the included readme file. Simply extract the Client Extension zip file to a folder of your choice, and use the included NWLauncher.exe to launch the game client to take advantage of the NWN2 Client Extension's added features and bugfixes.

The Client Extension also includes seamless auto-update functionality to keep the CE current with the latest bugfixes and improvements. "
updated for nwncx 2.9
When I try to use the NWN2 client extension it gives me this :(

I've been trying all day to figure out why.
Hello:

Not sure if the CE is still being supported at this time, but when I extract all the files in the .Zip file and click on NWLauncher in the created CE directory, I get to the startup menu, click multplayer then sign-in... I get an error about the individual player key not being the multiplayer key and to switch it in the "startup" menu??

I will attach a screen shot of the error:

Hello Xachaffery!
Not sure if you already figured it out but I'll post this anyway, in case other people have the same issues:

The GOG NWN2 Version does not provide individual installations therefore the "nwn2cdkey.ini" is empty and the game cannot verify if you are a legal owner of this game.

In order to fix this problem, open up your GOG online Account Page to figure out your NWN 2 game codes.
Then head over to your GOG GalaxyClient, select NWN2, click "More" -> "Other" -> "Multiplayer Key Changer"
This will open a small executable where you can enter the keys. Save and load and you'll be fine!

Edit: Step-by-Step-Guide:
Step 1) Log into the GOG Web-Page and head over to https://www.gog.com/account

Step 2) Under "My Collection" Click on Neverwinter Nights 2 -> "More" -> "Serial Keys"

Step 3) If you are using the GOG Galaxy Client select Neverwinter Nights 2 and Click on "More" -> "Other" -> "Multiplayer Key Changer". Enter the Codes, Save & load and your done !

Step 4)
If you are somehow not using the GOG Galaxy Client, head to the NWN2 Installation Directory and open the nwncdkey.ini. If no such file exists create one using text editor.
The nwncdkey.ini should contain a layout like this:
[CDKEY]
Key1=[ADD THE NWN2 MAIN-SERIAL-CODE HERE]
Key2=[ADD THE CODE FOR MASK OF THE BETRAYER HERE]
Key3=[ADD THE CODE FOR STORM OF ZEHIR HERE]

Copy and add the codes from your GOG Account, save and exit. Then try restarting the game.

Thanx for the reply and sorry its been so long before I saw it. I stopped monitoring for a response after a couple of weeks thinking no one was still monitoring the thread.

I have a question regarding the solution. I am not sure what you meen by "gog online account". I use the GOG galaxy Client pretty much exclusively. I assume that is NOT what your talking about as you mention it separately later and when I went to my "account page" within the client, I could find an order number for the game but not game codes (I assume the order number is NOT the game code you are referring to). Could you be more specific about the "gog online account" and what to do once within it to get to where the codes are?

Sorry for my ignorance.

Thanx

Your web account, presumably the one you use to post in this forum:

Titles at the Top of this page: right now:

STORE ABOUT COMMUNITY SUPPORT YourUserName

Under YourUsername there is a menu that opens. Choose "Games" from it.

That brings your to your games library. Find NWN2, and follow his instructions.

Use a web browser to login to GOG and access your Library. Not the Galaxy client.

Ughhh, stupid me

Sorry folks and: Yes! That's exactly what I meant! Thanks for the clarification you both have put up :-)

@Xachaffery: No worries ;-)
I've updated my post with a step-by-step Guide so it hopefully should be more helpful.

If anything is still unclear I'll be glad to help out!
Thank you soooo much! Crystal clear!! Worked like a charm!!
