Has anyone else experienced a relatively high number of checksum errors on NWN2 when using the GOG downloader? I've gotten errors on chunk 82, 83, 84, and 86 so far. I really do not want to waste another day trying to download it manually when I've got like a gigabyte left on this download.

What do you mean download manually?
The downloader doesn't automatically detect the errors and redownload the damaged parts?

By downloading manually, I mean turning off the GOG downloader on the game's page in my collection and getting all 6 1.5ish gigabyte files, since "chunk 83" is meaningless when trying to figure out which file I'd need.

I've restarted the GOG downloader about six times now, and every time it says Checksum Error/Please Contact Support, it stops cold turkey. If I want to try again on the file, I have to exit and restart the downloader.

Edit - Just got a new one on Chunk 85.

I don't like the downloader so I always use my browser. Last night I downloaded the first 5 sections with no issues whatsoever. It was late so I saved the 6 file (part 6 of 6, 1.1GB) until this morning. The first attempt stoped at 93MB and this second attempt got to 244MB before it quit. That last 1.1GB file may be where your problem lies, just guessing.
As soon as I'm done typing this I'm sending in a service request.

edit - The third time's the charm. The third attempt finally worked and I got the whole thing. I have no idea if the service techs had anything to do with fixing it.

That is a pretty serious issue with the downloader, it should automatically redownload failed chunks not stop dead in its tracks. You should contact support, hopefully they will fix the downloader

It is nothing new. So long as I've had the downloader, that's what it's done. The bar fills out, turns gray, and just totally stops trying to do anything with that file.

Edit - Just tried again. Another error on chunk 86.

Oh, and joy of joys, they updated the files to 2.1.0 when I was downloading the 2.0.0 ones. So that means (probably) even if I wanted to manually download the file containing chunk 80-something, I couldn't. I'd have to start over again.

Why can't they leave the previous versions up for download?
