After a cursory glance, there seems to be a fair number of people with difficulties/concerns regarding the mp keys required for NWN2. I don't have aspirations of online play, but are there issues with the keys for LAN play? For that matter, are they even required for LAN play?

I'm considering playing this with my daughter locally, but I really don't want to deal with these problems. I've just reached the point where there are too many other great games to play that don't cause the headaches. Which is why I love GOG so, normally.

I never played NWN2 in any form of multiplayer, but from what I've read, the keys are needed for LAN. Unlike NWN1, however, the keys are automatically added to your shelf, so you won't need to request them from support.

Adding the keys to the game is rather simple. You can either use the Multiplayer Key Changer program, or, if that doesn't work, edit the nwncdkey.ini in the main-folder of the game yourself.

The downside of all this is, that you will need a second copy of NWN2 to be able to play with your daughter.
