Did you make a "multiplayer key request"?

Nvm lightfoot8. I started my pc this morning nd joined a server with no problems..thx much for ur response :)
No Problen, There are times when CD-Keys do not relese correctly from a server that has crashed. That is more of a gameSply isue however. If it happens again and the last server you where playing on is still running Try logging back into it and then logging back out. That has corrected the problem for me before.
i also have the same problem.. just bought the game from this site. i have requested a multiplayer cd key. so maybe i just have to wait, allthough i see people being able to play without requesting one
The CD key that ships with the game is most likely a valid cd-key. The problem is every one who buy the game here starts with the same cd-key. This means that if any one of the people who bought the game is useing that cd-key on line no one else will be able to use it. This is the reason you have to request your own unique CD-Key.

If I where you I would still keep a copy of the CD-Key that ships with the game. It could come in usefull if you just wanted to play multiplayer on a local network with a friend.
Even the CD-key I received in my boxed edition of NWN: Diamond (yes, I own two copies of NWN: D, physical and digital, plus a copy of the original NWN: Gold) sometimes does this in multiplayer. It's not weird Chinese hacking activity or any such thing, it's just the buggy and antiquated multiplayer servers acting funny :D
Anyone know how long it takes on average for them to get you your new keys? I wish they had outlined this in the purchase process.
Thanks~

Usually within 2 working days (since they're closed on weekends).
Whelp. I'm missing our scheduled game. ~_~ C'est la vie.
Thank you for letting me know, Kezardin. I was getting tired of refreshing my inbox.

Says at the bottom of the gamecard description you have to get a new key.
I guess I just didn't see it.

This worked for me as well.

C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\NWN Diamond
Was the path to get to my games files.

Once there double click on the "nwncdkey" file and replace the keys found in your GoG account

Log into GoG and select the NWN game. There is a "more" drop down menu that you'll click on then select the "Serial keys" option.

Just in case save the nwncdkey file somewhere on your computer before you edit it. leaving the original in the same place as it is.

Copy and paste each CD key (Neverwinter Nights, Shadows of the Undrentide, and Hordes of the Underdark) into their corresponding sections, replacing the old ones. NWN being number 1, Shadows being 2 and Hordes being three.

If game isn't closed completely do so then open the game and it should work. Did for me, haven't had the issue again thereafter.
