So I found my CD Key, and proceeded to attempt to figure out what to do with it. Someone on GOG told me to replace the CD Keys in the nwncdkey.ini file in the directory. I did that, and now it tells me to enter my CD Key. I am truly starting to get annoyed.

Someone please help? I just wanna join a PW Server.

EDIT: Sorry. Forgot to include this was for NWN1. Just...really...annoyed.

Is this NWN2? There are three keys (NWN2, MotB, SoZ). Inside the program folder, run the SerialTool.exe file and enter the three keys in there.

For NWN1 you need to request a separate MP CD key from support. Is this the key you are using? If not, you need to request one.

Yeah. I got the MP CD Key already(Had it about three years or so from my old computer) and just need to know how to activate it.

You place it in nwncdkey.ini inside your installation folder (make sure it's NOT inside Program Files). Also check the [Profile] and [Server Options] settings in nwnplayer.ini. Remember, the master authentication servers have been offline for years now.

Just replace key1. NWN1 comes with generic keys, but the MP key will disable the premium modules. Download the premium modules re-installer.

Like this:

Key1=XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

Edit: forget the blanking advice; they're generic, like I said. It's late... I should be in bed. :D

Do you have the GOG edition, and did you get the key from GOG? Are you sure the key is the correct key?

I doubt it, though it couldn't hurt to contact support. They will sort you out either way.

Then I play the waiting game. See ya mate
There should be three keys. One for the original game, one for SoU, and one for HotU (Key1, Key2, and Key3, respectively). Make sure you have them all in your .ini file. And there should only be three keys, not four.
