The way this works isn't perfect, but we're working on making the process automatic. If it were possible for NWN1, we would definitely do it, but this isn't realistically possible - at least not yet. Without more background information I can only guess that you set the game to a low resolution (800x600), on a high-resolution monitor, and your card has screen scaling disabled. Please check what resolution setting your game is using.
Are you using windowed mode?
