Hi

I am at chapter 3 in the original campaign of NWN.
I have encounter a smith named Barun Silverblade who can make magical armor & weapons.

Because I am a paladin, I use a Greatsword, and he has a recipe of the Harbinger Kin Greatsword.
Where can I find or buy a magical Greatsword?

Thankyou
gogwitcher300
From Barun.
Finally figured it out
Accidentally sold the adamantite in the first chapter, so I can't make the sword

Thank you very much you helped me a lot
Adamantine is NW_IT_MSMLMISC16 if you want to spawn it in.

Instead of toting untold piles of crap around in the wild chance I may need a stinkin' bodak tooth, slaad tongue, fenberries, those freakin' inventory-clogging chunks of ironwood or quartz crystals in chapters where they don't drop, I just spawn them as needed. They cost next to nothing so it won't change your gold stash. It's up to you, though.
Was searching the whole internet about the spawn codes for items

Totally agree with you
All my backpacks are filled with all kinds of useless junk, in hopes of finding use for them
Bottles, Quartz and etc.

And the funnest thing is that adamantine is only 5 gp, to sell
And it look like slingshot ammo

Once again thank you

P.S
Can you give me instructions on how to spawn items, because I cant find anywhere the right way
I use;

dm_spawnitem <item>

Toggle DebugMode on - spawn item(s) - turn DebugMode off. ("1" means on, "0" means off)

The last step is very important to avoid corrupting your current save. A full list of instructions and commands can be found here.

The recipes with adamantine are biased because they rely on the player's clairvoyance to be able to upgrade in Ch3 without access to some sort of quest that would furnish them in that module (the other components can all be found in containers in other modules after Ch1). Why the designers made that decision to single out just those recipes I have no clue but it makes that aspect of the game unnecessarily disappointing (IMHO).

No matter how I try it wont let me spawn anything
Even though it says "success"

It may be for the good
Because I encounter foes that are either immune or take little damage from fire
The Harbinger Kin Greatsword has a lot of fire damage which for me makes it useless

I use The Dagger of Chaos, which heals me on hit, and stuns the enemy with a 50% chance

Maybe in my next play through I'll not sell the only ingredient

The same with my spells, I completely forgot the I need wisdom for my paladin spells
And I found out that I have a spell book only at the end of Ch1

But I still thank you for helping me out
DebugMode 1
dm_spawnitem nw_it_msmlmisc16
DebugMode 0

Console commands are case-sensitive, so note the above. For the second command, aim the cursor at a valid patch of ground, and that's where the item appears. The third command should be used because you don't want to see an ugly mess of triggers everywhere you go :)

List of Blueprint ResRefs current to HotU
It worked!!
The problem was that I didn't type the DebugMode
I was sure the ~ was enough to spawn an item

Thank you Chipster & tristanlist

I can't even make any weapons there. His forge is not interactable. I can only interact with the anvil and the brazier, and that does nothing. Are you supposed to be able to click on the forge to open up its inventory? Judging by what the smith says, it ought to be so. But the forge doesn't become highlighted or anything, it's just like part of the background.

If I remember correctly (it was a long time ago when a won NWN),

1. You talk with Barun
2. You ask him what can he make
3 He looks into your inventory
4 If there are ingredients that match the recipe sheet that he gave, then he can make an item from the list you pick.
If there are no matching ingredients then he tells you to go find them.

The player doesn't smith, its Barun who does all the work. He walks up to the anvil, there is an armor, or hammer effect above the anvil, and he then returns to you.

!!!Warning!!!
Be careful and don't sell any one time encounter ingredients in Chapter 1, wait until you reach Barun and then sell ingredients that you don't need.

You have to put the items in the forge, and then talk to him to get him to go over and hammer away at it.

The best items he makes (IMO) are the Halberd +4 and the Drone Morningstar, which is also +4 IIRC. Some might opt for the Mace of Disruption, which is excellent against undead, but I don't think offers any universal bonuses.
