Hey, I just bought the NWN Diamond edition and I am up for some coop. I've finished the game few times before but I'd like to do it in coop for fun. Please leave a message here if you're interested and if you are, make sure you are willing to do it and have enough time, I wouldn't like you to leave after one hour saying the game is boring...

I can host the game (I should be able to). I've got XFire (nick: berserklol) but I don't have a mic :F I don't think it's not that big of a deal, NWN is slow-paced unlike Battlefield or something.

Yeah, well...not having mic is not a super big of a deal even if it would be cool to voice chat a bit while going through it....so getting a cheap headset would be a good idea still...

I live in Sweden and work daytimes. Not saying I can play every day....it depends....but most days I am avaliable at Xfire at least after 6-8 pm CET.

Also in the weekends there is more time .... like in the days ...

Currently I am playing at a few NWN PW's but I am still very interested to try the original game as I played it for like 8 years but never the OC....doh.....

Also I thought to try and do some recording and screenshotting as we go. Trying to promote NWN here and there and thoose are a good way.

Ok, we need this started for real. I am on Xfire right now, as soon as someone jumps in we could start with the campaign.

I tried to play with superfly2000 yesterday and we went through the prologue but I had some problems with saving/loading because I used dedicated server, now I'll host from the game so it should be fine.

About more people tagging along I seee no problem with that...only that more than 3 at a time could get messy and also not all are probably going to be able to experience the full part of the story...as we'll be playing even if one is missing I guess...

You know Xfire is a free program and it is really good for this kind of co-op...so I can't recomend it enough. I hope that all who play have Xfire and a headset...even though Athariel doesn't have a headset hehe....but he is using Xfire at least...

In worst case we could use Skype also...but preferably Xfire.

It will help you re-bind the keyboard shortcuts for in-game use....so they work better....

Just for your information: I am playing a fighter and Athariel is playing a wizard. So no more wizards please :-P More fighters is ok I think....and even if there is one more wizard we'll probably manage as well...only slower....

Some multiplayer information:

Normally it is ok if only one of us talks to the NPC. However when an NPC gives XP, items or gold it is necessary that everyone in the party talk to them. Naturally if you feel like it everyone can talk as much as they like with the NPC's....

...I only ask that the first one who talks goes through most of the interesting options in the conversation and also let most of voice recordings play through...as I am interested in listening to the voice acting....thanks....

I play a Druid or a Fighter. I find them easier for me

edit: Plus I've already seen the OC story.

I think the best way is to let eg. superfly2000 talk through everything you are interested in, and the rest just clicks through it quickly just to get the quest or whatever. The city is worst part, because there is only talking, almost no fighting, once we get into districts it should get better. I am online all the time so I can play whenever you want.
