No .dll is required.

It's pretty simple.

1. Find the engine_config.txt file, which should be in the Config folder of your Bannerlord folder under your documents. For me, that's Documents > Mount and Blade II Bannerlord > Configs.

2. Open engine_config.txt in Notepad++

3. Search for the line that says cheat_mode = 0. Change that to cheat_mode = 1. Save the file. You should be good to go. If this doesn't work, then something might be wrong with your game installation.

Edit: I just noticed that your original post made reference to Notepad. I recommend using Notepad ++, which is a free download. It's much less likely to insert or remove special characters in the file, which can cause problems. That's what I used, and gave my instructions from. Notepad probably isn't causing you a problem, but if it still doesn't work, then try Notepad ++.

There is no engine_config.txt file nor is there a config folder hence why I said tips did not work.

Hmm... I don't know then. Those files "should" be there, unless the operating system is hiding them for some reason. Not sure what's going on. Sorry I can't be more help.
