I bought today all Might and Magic games from GOG . I want to ask a question , This game's installation directorys include all same files from the disk version ? I mean original files ? or changed something . Could someones provide md5 , sha-1 hash files for checking . This is very important curiosity for me .
This question / problem has been solved by Tallimaimage
Why nobody answering my questions ? :S
Maybe if you were more specific?
"md5" and "sha-1" is Turkish...I mean Greek for most people...

...I don't own a disk drive anymore...
...If I did, the disks I have probably wouldn't work anyway...
No MD5 and SHA-1 is not Turkish :S
I searched a bit and downloaded some files and checked some md5 and sha-1 hashes . It seems they same from some abadonware site ones . I want to know they are cracked or not ? They are all of original files ? And all files are complete . I want to check them for missing files . I want to know them because I generally working in preservation projects and M&M preservation is too important for me . Thanks .

99% of the time (I rounded down) it's because of a licensing issue. Possibly the CD version had music that was licensed to be distributed for a certain amount of time or copies. Or the CD version was only authorized in certain countries and not worldwide.

So, GOG's awesome team of awesomenauts have to hunt for people to sign new agreements. If they do, then Great! You have the full CD version. If not, poopoo! Just plain old disks.

(NOTE: The following is from 10 year old memory anagrams. Take it with a grain of salt.)
As for the original M+M files, there would be no need for cracking. So they shouldn't be cracked. However, the files on the 6-pack were altered from the originals in a small way. The disks were given directories and the game would call from those directories to load up the maps.

Several of the old-school versions came on several floppies that had to be swapped. 512KB just wasn't enough space.

As for the CD-version ones (like MM6), I don't know. I'd bet they were cracked. But I'm not sure.

Your best bet would be to buy the games from ebay and do some backing-up that way. If the archiving process is extremely important to you, I'd imagine it would be a small price to pay to keep the original files preserved until the end of time.

That said, the end of time is Friday. So you'd better pay extra for expedited shipping.
MM3 for one had the question "what's the word from page x, line y, word z from the manual?" on game start. The GOG version has this removed. The question flashes for a moment then disappears...

Tallima touched on this, but the answer is that GOG has the rights to sell the Might and Magic 6-pack, which was an actual boxed retail product for sale from Ubisoft. That pack contained the original floppy disk versions of MM 4 and 5, rather than the enhanced CD versions, so that's what's included here. For GOG to sell the CD versions, they'd have to get the rights to sell a different product, which would involve a lot of legal wrangling. Also, since the CD versions were never included in a pack with the other games, GOG would have to sell them separately from the 6-pack.
The Six Pack disk version same with GOG's floppy version ?

It is very hard to get the CD audio version ("talkie") working properly in DosBox -- the speech doesn't sync and swapping the CDs requires a hidden "boss key" type command.
