Which of these wonderful games have music?
(can't hear any in MM1, haven't tried any other)

The music in might and magic i tought especially for 6 - 8 was fantastic. Very atmospheic to the game even have a few of the tracks on my mp3 player. I think though might and magic 6 has the best music.

On that note, the NES version of MM1 has music. Totally different in graphics and interface, but yeah.

In the version provided by GOG, MM1 and MM2 do not have music, except for a very simple title screen theme. Later ports of these games to consoles often added music, but the DOS versions did not have any.

MM3-5 have midi music. MM6-8 have full CD-quality music. The full soundtracks for 6-8 are provided with the GOG versions, but currently only the MM4 midi sountrack is provided by GOG, none for MM3 or MM5.

If you can get a hold of an original game disc, you'll be able to rip the music directly off of it. M&M Platinum and Millennium Editions are my personal favorite compilations. If you can find one at a decent price, don't let go! :)
