If you've already played the game through and would like to try making the next "go through" a bit easier, try this.

The quest given in Erathia to kill the Dragon, Wromthrax in Tatalia can be a real goodie/money maker.

He's the only dragon you'll see for quite awhile. And, like other "bad guys", when you click on him, he won't always disappear.

A lot of patience and reloading will get you really high end goodies you can sell or keep.

Click on him..if he disappears, reload and click again. If his "body" stays, see what goodie you got... then save and click again till his body doesn't disappear. Click, save...click, save etc....

Each time, you will get a real good....goodie... I've managed to get a Relic and items with over +20 enhanchments.

It takes time, but the items you get will be worth the effort.

Also..... when your inventories are full... DON'T leave the cave unless you leave his "body" there, visible.......Unlike items/monsters left outside..... His body will not disappear when you leave and you can go back many times over the "game years" to replenish money or try for even better goodies....

These items are very "high end" and will make the game much easier... play through once, to get the real feel of the game.... then, if you want to.. have fun with this.....

PS..Keep any +20 or more items for use on the Braziers... If you don't meet the requirements, equip the needed enhanchment and you got the skill points...

You can also do this on Emerald Isle, though you can't go back there. It can also be accomplished with any large, high-level enemy, including other dragons and titans. Since these monsters are so large, sometimes it takes more than one try to find all of the goodies (in-universe, anyway).

Hi.... the point was ... other than Emerald Isle, you won't see a high level enemy like Wromthrax for awhile.... and you can get super goodies very early in the game ...... long before you're strong enough to take on the titans or behemoths....or other the other dragons in the Land of the Giants...

Usually don't kill the Emerald Isle dragon.. he wipes the floor with me so I just get to the mainland ASAP... better ex and my castle.... for storage.... I'm a pack rat.... need those chests...

After playing this game several times, I found that Wromthraxs' level 6 goodies are just as good the Blood Titan .. And I can handle Wromthrax at a much lower level than a Blood Titan....or Red Dragon....

How about you???
I've found the most satisfying money "cheat" to be Grandmaster Merchant. ;)

Hmm, I don't really remember what level is good. I tend to go after groups of the high-level baddies once I have mass-damage spells. Otherwise, I try to isolate them, and dodge. This is hard to do in a cave, but I've found that the Emerald Isle Dragon will get stuck in one part of the cave, and you can kind of hide near the entrance and dodge his attacks. Takes forever, since you're so low-level and can only do so much damage, and you can only get hit four times (once per character), but you can get that payoff at level one and have sweet equipment for the level 1-5 enemies on the Isle. I just did that now, with a party of four clerics, and I cleared out Castle Harmondale killing goblins in one strike. Took a lot of the challenge out, but it still had its own quiet beauty, lol. All it takes is four bows.
I always kill the Emerald Island dragon. Takes a while but really isn't that hard :) Be sure to do it lastly just when you're ready to get off the island. Get the wand from Mr Malwick and keep any other wands your party has looted up until now, teach everyone bow (that's a no brainer). Firstly run around the cave and make sure the dragon is busy with the rats, empty your wands at him and dodge his attacks by circling. After your wands are gone he should at least be at 50-60% of his hp. Then just keep on circling around him
