And here I am with yet another question, I am trying to avoid the cluebook as I want to experience the game on my own but is there any website or resource where I can find item information, I find the lack of info within the game disturbing =P I never know which weapon is stronger and which class would benefit most from it...

And another thing, does anyone know about the console version of MM2? How does it fare compared to the PC version, The SNES version at least looks and sounds(music and effects) way better than the PC version. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GVXtqQaVz0

Identify the weapons in shops to find out their properties.

There are definitely websites with item information for the game... try this one (use the links on the left of the page to look at weapons, armor, or miscellaneous items):

http://shrines.rpgclassics.com/pc/mm2/index.shtml

You can also just search the PDF of the cluebook for the item in question. That's what I did, to minimize spoilers.
