Hey guys, I have started playing mm9 and when I go into my inventory there is the bar at the top of the screen that says mm9. That is fine, but the problem is the bar is covering part of the actual screen. It covers the where it says my characters class. Is there anyway to make it so it isn't covering the screen? I attached a screenshot if it helps.

Thanks!

This is in Windows 8, correct? There is a problem in fullscreen mode.

Check this fix (Go to "Window border visible in fullscreen mode" towards the bottom):
http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Might_and_Magic_IX#Fullscreen_border_.28Windows_8.29

You might also want to set 32 bit colour to prevent freezing in menus

And here is a summary of how to use it:

So just to summarize what worked for the Imac with Win8:

1.) Install MM9 in a different folder, as suggested *example c:/mightandmagic10*
2.) Download the fix and unzip it, then install it.
3.) Go to your MM9 folder and change screendepth AND bitdepth to 32 as via the link
4.) Then start MM9 and it should be working just fine!!!

So, I have done as instructed and run the fix but it doesn't seem to change anything. Is there something I may be missing?
sorry :(. I haven't played MM9 myself, so I'm not sure how to fix this further. Try PMing Arkose (in the link) see if he has any insight.
