I haven't realised that an attribute of 10 means a -1 penalty. I also didn't pay attention to the fact that elves get -2 to HP...

Which means that my elf sorceror gains an astounding 1 HP per level. And I just noticed it now...

He's got 6 HP, while the others are all 40-80... It's too late to restart the game, so I'm going to have to live with that. My question is, if I gain endurance permanently, will it retroactively increase my HP for previous levels?

Could you spoil me as to the location of permanent End or HP increase (location name only! Not the exact coordinates and without any info on how to get there!!)

You get ths hitpoints retroactively, so if you raise endurance from 10 to 50 you get 11 extra HP per level for example. If you learn the bodybuilding you also get a few extra HP.
There are many locations where you can raise endurance permanently. The cave below swamp town for example.
