Can someone show me exactly where in the config file to change the screen size????

If you're talking about DOSBox, then almost at the beginning the config file has the following two lines:
fullresolution=original
windowresolution=original

Changing either of those lines to a resolution size is probably what you're looking for.

When I changed the fullresolution=original tp fullresoslution=1028x768
the game screen is now centered perfectly.
