Today I finished MM1. It was awesome. I mapped everything myself which was also great. Now I understand there is an auto-mapping feature in MM2 and I was wondering whether I need to map anything on paper or whether I should just write down clues and the likes? Any reason to keep mapping stuff (though with the automap feature I guess it would be quicker since you can copy the automap onto paper). Thanks!

I still hand-mapped everything. The auto-mapping feature in the game is pretty basic and will not mark special locations. Besides, I enjoyed drawing the maps. But you can probably get by with just notes if you didn't want to draw all the maps by hand.
