Hi, everyone. I recently completed Might and Magic I: Secret of the Inner Sanctum, and I had a blast with it, so I definitely want to continue playing the series. You can import your characters from MM1 to MM2, but I don't know how to do this. You have to visit the gates to another world in MM1, which I did, but in the MM2 menu it asks for a path to the ROSTER.DTA file, and this is where I don't know what to do. If anyone could explain how to import characters, it would be very much appreciated.

Slightly off topic but as I've just finished MM1 and should get back to MM2 it's worth noting that there are some extra character classes available in MM2 so you can adjust your party a bit if you want to.

True, but it's also possible to hire up to two "hirelings" as extra characters, which is a way to try out the new character classes without creating entirely new characters. This is nice for those who are attached to their original party from MM1. It's also possible to just create one or two new characters in MM2 and swap them in, of course.
