Hello,
I have generic dosbox settings in my computer and can launch the altered exec from using that but the settings are no where near as good as the dosbox settings. When I use the launcher for master of magic it launches the generic game. How do I alter it so it launches the insecticide version? Do I need to reinstall instead of copying?
This is the Might and Magic forum.
The Master of Magic forum is next door.

As Petrus indicated, you should open a thread in the Master Of Magic forum for more help.

The short answer to your question: if you installed Insecticide correctly, then the game you are opening is the Insecticide patched version. An easy way to check: if you start a new game, and the "Magic" setting toggles between "Weak/Normal/Powerful", then you didn't install Insecticide right. If the "Magic" setting shows numbers instead, then you are running with the Insecticide patch.

Thank you!
I did actually manage to get it working. I had to reinstall master of magic into its own folder, then take the extracted files from Insecticide and move them into the folder.

Kind of silly me putting this in the wrong folder.

That is what you get for posting after another 10 hour day of work.
