Hey, just picked up the 6-pack and I'm having a couple of issues with World of Xeen and VI. For Xeen, the game runs fine, but when I go into the tavern to talk to the woman, when I click exit the game appears to hang. She says goodbye and sound still runs, but it stays on the screen where I was talking to her, with my cursor unmovable after clicking Exit/hitting ESC. I also don't see any NPCs in the gameworld (though I see the enemy slime fine). For VI, I'm having that classic screen not refreshing issue. That is, when I start the game I can hear the sound progressing as normal, but the screen is stuck on the opening image of the 3DO logo. I've already tried various compatibility settings and am using the Greyface patch. Any help? :)

EDIT: Fixed the Xeen problem by tinkering with the sound settings (sounds nicer now, too, except for a bell sound whenever I open doors). I still can't see NPCs, though. Not sure if that's by design or not.

It's by design that you can't see NPCs while not talking to them. You only see the tent or the table or other locations where they are.

That's what I suspected, I just wanted to confirm. I would've felt pretty stupid if I'd found it wasn't by design halfway through the game. x]

EDIT: So to clarify the current issues I'm having at the moment. 3-5 work fine (haven't tried 1&2 yet), but I'm still having the refresh issue with 6. Any suggestions?

DarioGOII: have nvidia card?
Integrated Intel card, actually (on my laptop). Haven't tried it on my desktop yet.
Just posting to say that I actually figured it out, using a guide elsewhere on the forum (I searched, but must've missed it). Basically, only the intro movie is a problem. By editing my registry to think I've already watched it once, I can skip it and the game itself runs perfectly.
