although it is 730 some megabytes, it went up to 1.3 gb still waiting and what i read from the downloader is 690mb so far..

Try restarting the Downloader and adding the game to it again; if that doesn't resolve it you could toggle the Downloader mode temporarily and download it through your browser instead.
