Gah! Total nightmare I'm having here on trying to setup some GOGs on my nexus 7.

Anyone managed to get the new version of 4+5 working on a portable dosbox?
(Just seems like something I could play in bed...)

Just keep coming up with illegal command: xeen.exe whenever I try... -_-

Recently got a phone with Android, would like to try to get this running as well. I'd settle for just the non-talkie version.

Well, the GOG installer creates a custom configuration file when you install the game under Windows, so this could be messing with things when you try to install on an Android device. I've never used DOSBox on Android, but you might have better luck if you manually set everything up. Like maybe install the game on your Windows machine, then copy all the files to your Android device and then build your own configuration file?

Or is that already what you're doing?

That sounds like a good bet to me.

You could simplify things by trying to run it manually via DOSBox first, then created a config file that does whatever you had to do (which is what the GoG installer does - launches DOSBox with that config file)

To further elaborate, that "illegal command" message is probably happening because DOSBox is not mounting the right folder, so it can't find the xeen.exe file. By changing the configuration file (or just doing all the mounting and initial setup manually) you can probably get it to run the game.

But again, I've never used DOSBox on Android, so I don't know how similar it is to the Windows version.

Did someone get the games to work with Dosbox Turbo? I just bought Dosbox Turbo to play these 2 games, but I'm too stupid to launch them :(
