If I try and run MOH AA at the highest resolutions in the video menu, the program goes to a blank black screen and the console window reads that OpenGL cannot be found. I tried adding an OpenGL32.dll file to the directory but still nothing. I've given up ever trying to get MOH AA to run at 2560x1080 (my display) by it should easily run the highest settings in the game's video menu.

Many thanks.

My specs:

Windows 8.1
64bit OS
i7-3770
3.40GHz
32 GB memory
GTX 1070

Go this website for the resolution http://www.wsgf.org/dr/medal-honor-allied-assault-war-chest
You gotta make a custom cfg file and add these lines
seta r_customwidth "1920"
seta r_customheight "1080"
seta r_mode "-1"

NOTE: you can add whatever resolution you want. Make sure you add in "unnamedsoldier.cfg" as well and make run the game to see if it changed. If it didn't then check "unnamedsoldier.cfg" and see if "seta r_mode" was changed by the game. Sometimes the game does that but Once you change it to -1 then it'll have to change to the resolution you want.

I don't know if this will fix your issue. I just assume you were having trouble getting the game to run at a high resolution.

I would try adding the following text to the "newconfig.cfg" file located in the main folder (replace the x's with your desired resolution).

seta r_customwidth xxxx
seta r_customheight xxxx
seta r_mode -1

I tried adding this to the "unnamedsoldier.cfg" file and it never worked for me, it would simply ignore the changes I made. I couldn't figure out why it wasn't working and started poking around the folder when I came across the "newconfig" file. Once I added the above text to the "newconfig.cfg" file I was able to run the game at 2560x1440 with no issues.

Hope this helps! :)

I dont see a Newconfig.cfg anywhere in any folder. Was it added? or should I create one? Thanks
