I just played a game of 359 Turns and the Council never convened once, this doesn't seem right to me.

Anyone have any ideas?
How much of the galaxy got colonized? I've had quite a few games where the Council never met (or stopped meeting) because the AI Empires kept bombing colonies out of existence.

2 of the races i never met, they were eliminated before i expanded far enough, of the other 5, 3 never expanded beyond 3 systems, and one of the other 2 only took 4 systems (on a large galaxy), i ended up just bombing them all out of existance, im not that great at the game to be honest, i was playing on average and expected a much tougher time of it, especially since i was against the Psilons...

EDIT Also the Antarans stopped attacking after about 4 incursions.......must be just the way it played out, just seems odd....

That'd be the reason then. The Council won't meet until 2/3 of the galaxy has been colonized and it'll adjourn if the number of inhabited worlds falls below that again. If you get one of those games where everyone else just sits there and drools instead of expanding, well - putting them out of their misery is the only humane thing to do (or Sakkrane thing or whatever). :)

Ahhh, thanks, i didn't know that......there were no Silicoid or Sakkra in the game, they seem to be the primary expansionists....im almost tempted to try it on hard next time...but i think it would end badly lol
