Greetings.

I've heard that there are mods that can make MOO3 actually a bit enjoyable and since I'm thinking about playing out of curiosity I'm in need of mods tips.

Regards
Tarm

Sticky or were you looking for something more?

I don't know. :P
Didn't really understand what that mod does and there also seems to be a lot more than one mod on the page it refers too. What I'm after is a enhanced or expanded vanilla mod. Not one that puts MOO3 in the tropics or something. ;)

I had the same problem. On the page it links to are bits and pieces of single mods as well.
The overall tropical mod can be used to enable individual patches, but most of it cannot like the UI and research tree is changed completely.

Don't have MoO3, but glancing through the sticky sounds like you want Vanilla or Strawberry.

Thanks guys. I'm going to test Tropical and Vanilla I think. Then I'll come back here and chose a Topic Solver. :)
