I have recently got back into the original MOO (a favorite of my childhood), and I bought the two-game combo (MOO & MOO 2) for a great deal when it went on. Lots of fun to revisit the original. However, I tried the second one, and it is considerably harder to navigate than the first game. Is there a tutorial of any sorts on the game itself, or does anyone have a recommendation for a good tutorial video on Youtube? Thanks.

I personally don't have patience to those video-tutorials (usually they're too sloppy and dragged, prefer to have some text), but here it is:
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL896E62ED0B93BAEF (veeery extensive)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5DgSPnnd8M (I've linked "part 2", because 1 is about race choosing/creating)

Aside from that, I would rather recommend "text" introduction into game:

Sorry for last link, no matter how I've tried to implement it, something weird was happening, so I've pasted it without https part.
