Aside from the resolution, and the two extra missions, does the HD version of Majesty 1 differ in any way from the original Gold? Gameplay, balance... etc?

I like to play originals first, before I try remakes. But if it's literally just the resolution (from what I saw on youtube it's just the main game resolution; intro movie, main menu... etc remained 4:3), then I won't mind playing the HD version straight away. Can anyone who has the game confirm?

No, there are no differences. Also the new missions are actually downloadable bonus missions made by developers for the base game after it was released (originally the missions were not compatible with expansion). No gamplay changes were made, so grab it and enjoy the classic experience enhanced by higher resolution and optional windowed mode.
