I got this game from the giveaway today. I tried launching it but after the screen where it recommends using a controller, it closes and I get this error message.

Have you tried to verify/repair the game via galaxy? It downloaded a good chunk of files after I did (97MB), so it's worth to give it a shot I reckon. Maybe it could help.
I have the same problem. The repeir via galaxy does not work.

I just tried and it didn't work. I still get the same message.

I also got the same problem and the verify/repair also doesn't work...
That's terrible. Maybe you could post your hw specs + os if you haven't already, to see the common denominator for this issue. At least for those who haven't already did that.

gml object create is a command in gamemaker, so it seems to fail create some instance, but it also mentions gog, so it might be the hook for galaxy features like achievements etc failing to initialize and then crashing. After all, galaxy.gml.dll is the gog sdk for gamemaker, so it's something related.

Also have you tried to launch the mable.exe without running the galaxy client at all, directly from its folder? I haven't played it via galaxy so far and in the options.ini file, I have no entries under [GOG_gml]. Maybe it's related.

Other than that, no ideas really. Runs on my end on win7 x64 ultimate and full amd setup.
Same issue here.
I've tried to:
-fix the file from Galaxy
-start the game from the exe
-start the game from the exe as admin
-disable the fullscreen
-unistall/reinstall the game manually and from the Galaxy
edit: I've also tried to download/install the Direct X

nothing works. The game always crash down after the controller screen givin said error report.

If you need my laptop specs: I'm using a w10 x64 - AMD Ryzen 7 3750H - Geforce gtx1650 - 8gb ram

Hello everyone.
I have played yesterday and except for one fatal error like you're describing, it went ok.
But now, the game won't even start.. I click on play, it synchronizes with the cloud but then it does nothing...
I tried to fix on gog, uninstall, reinstall, launch the exe even, but nothing seems to work...

Hope something will be done about that.

Have a good one

There was an update which causes this issue. Just go back to version 1.0.8 inside Galaxy. It should launch again after downgrading.

It's weird, but 1.0.9 is the update from yesterday, so maybe they were trying to fix this issue with this update. Lemme try if this launches after update from 1.0.8 to 1.0.9.

I tried 1.0.9 and it doesn't launch. After downgrade to 1.0.8 everything is working fine again. So i think yesterdays update broke the game.

Yea I just tried it and v1.0.9 is broken, because the executable is from the steam version. If you launch it, it launches steam and tries to launch game there (if you own it).

*facepalm* Such a fail, to include steamworks api wrapper here.

Anyway, please devs, fix. We here are drm-free folk, peaceful and just! ;)
