Is there any possibility to include this patch into GOG version?

According to Gamespot review (http://www.gamespot.com/m-a-x-2/reviews/max-2-review-2542462/?tag=summary%3Bread-review) there's a bug in version 1.0 that ruins two missions in campaign...
Here (http://rapidshare.com/files/3671022388/M.A.X.%202%20v1.4.7z)is an archive that contains the updated v1.40 files.
Use 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org/) to extract it inside the MAX 2 folder of the GOG installation, replacing originals.

Note: after patching, at various times the game scrolling is getting way too fast (at least this happens in my Win7
system). Setting "max2.exe" to run under Windows 95 compatibility mode seems to solve the problem.

Please provide feedback ...
Oh, dear, I just have seen your post now! Thanks a lot, I'll give feedback as soon as I try it.
Thanks again, cheers.

Is there anywhere that this patch is available these days? Interplay no longer has it on their site.

Hi,

I believe I have a copy of it at home. I could email it to you. I'll post back when I get home from work.

EDIT: I do have it and it's 1.7meg

Great! We can just google that and find several places to get it.
I tried applying the 1.4 patch (thanks CDNMerlin!) to the GoG version, but I got the 'Wrong Save File' error. I deleted the install, restarted, and tried it clean but no luck.

This thread mentions the problem, and a possible solution is to apply the UK 1.3 patch first. That's proving to be a tougher one to find so far.

I'm running it on Windows 8.1 64-bit, Intel i3 2120T, 8GB memory.

I may put this aside for now and hope that when the Interplay site comes back, it'll still host those patches.
Found this.

Search around, might have some stuff.
