FAIR WARNING! Some of the files' names you'll come across in those folders mentioned in the post contain minor and major spoilers! This is only true for the section about Life is Strange but not Before the Storm!
Instead of navigating to the folders, I recommend navigating to the main installation folder ...\Life is Strange and searching for BIK_Previously_ and BIK_Teaser_
You can move, remove or rename the files from there.
I don't want to create another topic on the same subject for Life is Strange and I can't edit the Topic's title on my own. I hope that you clicked on this in hope I would also talk about the main game. Yes, yes I do!
Life is Strange - You may skip the first two paragraphs in BtS, I wrote this section afterwards.
If you like the Story of Life is Strange but those narrations of what happend before you went on to the next Episode brake the illusion (or immersion) for you then you might want to follow these little steps in removing them all together from the game.
Go to your installation path and find your way to the folders Movies:
...\Life is Strange\LifeIsStrangeGame\Movies AND
...\LifeIsStrangeGame\Build\PCConsole\DLC\EpisodeXX\LifeIsStrangeGame\Content\Packages\DLC\EpisodeXX\Movies
with XX being replaced by 02 all the way up to 05. There move, remove or rename the files named BIK_Previously_XX.bik and BIK_Teaser_XX.bik
Before the Storm
As someone who loves the story of Before the Storm I had a very big issue with the game when Episode 2 released on Steam. This "awful" recap that broke the illusion for me. The preview for Episode 3 was even worse after Deck Nine had changed some of those lines from the preview by the time the Episode finally shipped. Urgh.
If you don't want that - let's call it - "letdown" for yourself or think it's a waste of time 'cause you're playing the episodes back-to-back and already know what happened; here's what to do.
Go to your installation path, find the folder DLC and within it E2 and either remove or rename the files so beautifully named:
E2_S01A_PreviouslyOnLiSBtS1_1080p30.usm
E2_S07_NextTimeOnLiSBtS_Ep3_1080p30.usm
Then go to folder E3 and do the same with the less passionately named:
E3_S01A_A.usm
EDIT: The preview for episode 2 E1S11_ComingSoonLength720p.usm is located in
...\Life is Strange - Before the Storm\Life is Strange - Before the Storm_Data\StreamingAssets\Video
No worries, the game won't break. However, you will experience a blackscreen for like a second where the game would normally load the cutscenes.
