Tried everything - on two different computers. The files are fine, the game installs, but nothing happens after launching.

I've got many other games, no problems with any of them or anything else. All updates and recent drivers installed.

Is there an update coming?

Hopefully so. You are not alone in having this problem (see thread - https://www.gog.com/forum/life_is_strange_series/wont_launch_maybe_steamgog_conflict). A few of us have contacted support so let's hope it's fixed quickly.

Pajama: Hopefully so. You are not alone in having this problem (see thread - https://www.gog.com/forum/life_is_strange_series/wont_launch_maybe_steamgog_conflict). A few of us have contacted support so let's hope it's fixed quickly.
There's another thread on here now about editing the hex in the common.dll file. I did this and it works a treat now. Still, a patch or update would be nice to replace my backup files.

Glad you've got it working :) Bit late for me as I have already had a refund on the game. I will look to re-buy in the future when GOG has patched the game so that no hex editing is required.

about 2-3 days ago gog uploaded a fix for the game.. hopefully it works for you now.
