I just installed Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen 2, and every time I try to run the game it immediately crashes. I've tried running as administrator and in compatibility mode for Windows XP and 98. I'm using Windows 7 64-bit.

Has anyone had this issue/been able to fix it? I'd like to find a solution other than setting up Windows XP in a separate partition on my hard drive.

What message to you get when the game crashes? I've been getting a Direct3D message as soon as it crashes. Got the other 3 games working fine though.
It was just an error from windows saying bo2,exe stopped working... I tried it a couple more times and got as far as the title screen, haven't tried playing the game yet. Maybe something else was causing it to crash?

Well, it let me start the game, but crashed during the opening cutscene. *shrugs*

hey mate i know this is a bit of an old thread but if you are still trying to get it to work i have found that if you change the compatibility mode to xp service pack 2 (not service pack 3 it seems to still crash if you pick service pack 3) it seems to work fine
hope that helps
