Hello all!

Could someone tell me if the GOG version has the music and movies for KKND 2 in a special folder or something?
I still have my original KKND 2 CDs and you have to have them inside the drive to play music and movies.

As with other GOG games, I assume that this release ripped them or the CD images are involved somehow.
I tried tricks that worked for other old games like creating a folder called music and such but that does not work.

In short, I would like to play music and movies without the CDs and I figured I would ask the people here how it looks for the GOG release.
Could not find any relevant info online.

Thanks!

Movies are in a separate folder - "fmv" (56 .vbc files). Not sure about music, probably in "Levels" folder, there are various files, including .WAV types.
Hm, it seems GOG did a bit more after all.

I ripped the movies (56 files) from both CDs and put them in a new fmw folder where the game is. Those WAVs are indeed the music as no WAVs are there originally. So I put those in LEVELS.

That did not work though.

I will get the GOG version then.
I do not have a problem getting it but I figured I will try the CDs I already have first. Something is wrong with my drive and some music tracks get stuck in an infinite 2 seconds loop at some point.

Anyway, thanks for the reply!

Interesting. I always thought my CDs were damaged or something as I had been running into the exact same issue for years with my original discs (I think even almost ten years ago when I was still using XP). Guess it's a general compatibility issue that GOG fixed.
