Can someone please tell me where to locate the Tutorial in this game?
I click on the Tutorial Button and it simply takes me to the game with no other information on how to play the game.
It seems from the manual that there is a Tutorial Manual, but maybe I am misunderstanding something.
Thanks for the help.

Dont install that unofiicial patch?. I have just started tutorial and hints what to do and stuff are displayed at the bottom side of the screen, sticked to the panel (click paper).
What unofficial patch?
I simply installed the game. Are you saying there should be text on the bottom left of the screen during the tutorial?

There are little notes on the bottom of your screen. There are right beside the panel.
When you click on them, you will get hints what to do. As example, compare the screenshots:
http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/knights_and_merchants_the_peasants_rebellion.
The first one has no notes, the second one has one note.

I am starting to play this game and have to admit the tutorial is not that helpful.
My experience is read through the manual once. Then play the tutorial map for learning, On the tutorial map there are two set of enemies (blue and yellow: with the yellow one is pretty strong), blue on the top left and yellow on the top right. My advice is to use this tutorial map to get yourself familiar with the battle command and tricks because the tutorial map allow you to have quite a lot of different types of building unlike the first three real campaign which you are quite limited. The type of troops you can have are limited by the resources you have in your town (thus limited by the building you can have). I do have to very often refer to the manual for which people are for the specific building.... My hint so far is build more farms....lots of building need wheat/corn, watch out for people not to be starved as well as don't forget to strengthen and plan your troops to protect your town (the enemy will attack you time to time, I very often lost due to too focus on town development and forgot to develop my defense troops....(Hope I am right, since I am still a beginner)

The tutorial is sadly very brief, with the instructions ending once you are about to start building military buildings. An unofficial patch being developed aims to fix e.g. this problem in the tutorial (making the instructions appear until you got the necessary stuff for producing soldiers).

The blue team is actually on the bottom left. Yeah I realize it was a typo. Whilst the yellow team does have a pretty strong army at the start of the map they are unable to produce more soldiers so the blue team will probably be more of a problem to defeat in the end.

Having less buildings to worry about in the first missions of the campaign might be pleasing for a beginner, though the enemy never attacks in the tutorial which does make it more relaxed.

The trick used by pretty much everyone when playing this game against the computer whilst attacking is to take a single bowman and lure an enemy troop to follow it by having the bowman attack that troop. This allows you to lure the enemy soldiers into a position with less enemy troops and with some well placed bowmen (and towers in later missions) and with some axe fighters to protect them, you should be able to win over a considerably bigger force. If you set up the ambush close enough to the enemy main base, they should be sending their whole army to your ambush after you've killed off the troop that initially started following you.

You can find out which occupant a building needs just by clicking the building once it's been built and then hovering over the citizen icon next to the building condition/hitpoints.
Thank you Litude,

Thank you for hinting me about the building and workforce. Yes, I latter find the bowman luring trick...I tried different troops then find bowman really is the most effective for luring.

The difficult I am facing now on campaign four is I don't have enough troop for protection, and not much time to develop troop without staving my people. Even I lure out through the bowman, their enemy so large that I won't be able to win over....especially they have quite a large troop of bowman at the back...

I am wondering have you tried send out a horseman one at a time to sneak to their city (I manage to do that) and then kill their bowmen, your horseman will eventually die but every time one horseman should probably be able to kill around 3 bowmen, is this strategy stupid/not effective?
Hello!

Is it actually possible to finish tutorial?

I destroyed both enemies (blue and green), build all available buildings, but tutorial still running.

When i choose "End mission" from menu, it tells me, that "Mission failed".

I know its just tutorial, but im completist, i need it "successfully complete"! :)
So, exactly after 3 months since my original question... i can answer myself :)

Unfortunately, original game installed from gog installer is bugged... or unfinished...

But i found patch 1.6: http://www.knightsandmerchants.net/index.php/fan-creations/patches/16-patch
And with this patch, tutorial is finally finishable :) And not only that - but also polished. There are more tutorial tips, useless buildings are locked, etc..
Also many glitches in main campaign are fixed.

Patch 1.6 is MUST for all who want enjoy this game in full glory!

GOG shoudl include this patch into installer.
