I have the skill yet don't get any troops resurrected after battle when they die. Am I missing something?

Seems it's a bug that was introduced (along with the Upper Hadar) when GOG downgraded exes to fix other bugs.

There is a separate fix for Upper Hadar, but to fix both, you can download the proper exe as provided by CkNoSFeRaTU
