I Love my tower defense games and have both Kingdom Rush and KR Frontiers. But i have issue with the speed.

Its feels like everything is on Fast Forward. There is hardly time to do anything because its like everyone is running.

Not joking when i say it feels like i am playing on Fast Forward.

This is on Windows 10 laptop. Did the same on my Windows 7 gaming rig.

Does anyone have any idea why its running so fast? Does not feel right at that speed.

Feels rushed, lol.

I cannot see any issues on Steam Forums, so not sure if this is perhaps a GOG issue.

Thanks in advance.

Can you record some of the gameplay and upload it to YouTube or sth similiar?

Have you watched any gameplays and compared the speed of the game?
The game is pretty fast compared to some other tower defenses.

As zeffyr said, first of all compare it to a youtube video to see if this is normal.

If it is, then trust me, it's just a matter of getting used to.
Hi Zeffyr and ZFR,

Thank you both for your replies. I will try when i have time to search for video to try and compare to my gameplay speed.

It just really feels like its just too fast.

Especially the new Kingdom Rush Frontiers. I could handle up to about level 5 or 6 and then it was like everything went into overcharge and the next level was almost double the speed. No time to even react then the enemy is already past and almost at your flags/gate.

What is really funny is that when i play it on the laptop and remove the charger and only play on the battery then the game runs slow (normal in my opinion), when i plug in charger then everything is fast forward again, lol.

On my desktop gaming rig i do not have battery there so i cannot fix it on that machine to run slow, lol.

I even tried running the game process as single CPU Core only because i thought the 6 Cores on the laptop or the 4 cores on the PC was causing this.

Thank you.

Here is a video of the PC version. You can compare.

Be aware though that some enemies (wolves) are faster. Here is an example:

Could you try enabling VSync and see if that changes anything?

OK, it seems it is a bug that has been reported by another person. Did you try a solution offered here:

Hi ZFR, thank you very much for your effort, i love the GOG community for this reason alone, lol.

Anyway i see the Steam problem refers to the first game Kingdom Rush BUT i am going to try those possible solutions on this game as well (Kingdom Rush Frontiers).

Thank you again for your effort.
