On the store page, it says: "overlay", but I'm not sure whether this includes achievements as well.

It doesn't. Achievements are the first thing to appear in game features https://www.gog.com/game/frostpunk https://www.gog.com/game/kingdom_come_deliverance

Just so you know, the Kingdom Rush series have achievements in game, just not in GOG Galaxy. I hope the developers fix this in the future.
