I have tried a couple of times now and think I sort of have the hang of it. Just one thing I find confusing when and how does time progress? How many actions can you take per season and do some actions take up more time than others? If time is RT can you pause and so on? I have general time issues Rofl

Sounds like you haven’t read the manual? It will help. Really.

You get can initiate two actions per season. The game goes at your pace, there is no need to pause.

I actually did but I found that some actions took longer and some I had no control over.

Things may happen, but you should always be able to initiate two actions per season (e.g. build two shrines in Sea season, raid twice in Fire season, sacrifice for Mysteries twice in Earth season, etc.).

Yes but then the actions such as trade-routes and quest and diplomacy I am sure there are more some seem to be turn ending and some are not and the turn automaticly passes. Is there a way to set the turn to pass when I say so (actions taken will of course still count but I can then take my time to read the different pages and so on before the next turn.)?
There are no free actions in this game. If something you do pro-actively has an effect on the game, be it a delayed or immediate one, the calendar advances. There are no exceptions; even small things take time to organize.

Reactive events don't take up any time, however. Don't feel stressed because you're asked to go on a raid by an ally; time won't advance faster.

Reading myths can be done at your leisure. Reading them has no bearing on the game state, and is required to advance, so don't sweat it.
