I recently decided to start playing King of Dragon Pass again. I bought the game last year and played it without any problems.

However, when I started it up the other day, (same PC same install) the game screen loads and only takes up a small portion of the center of my screen while the rest of the game window is black.

I have not changed my resolution or any of my display settings or video card settings at all since I last played the game. I use Windows 7.

Besides this, the game seems to be working fine, the resolution for the game screen is just way too small and I have no idea how to fix this.

My vision isn't the best and I really can't play the game unless I can fix this, some help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

On the shortcut: right-click, properties, Compatibility tab, check Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution.
Also there is related discussion here:

I dislike tiny print; and also couldn't get the windowed mode working correctly; but the FYI game is quite nice when run full-screen with shortcut properties set to windows 98 compatibility mode, run in 640x480.
