Exiting the Logitech software worked for me as well. I should note It is on Windows 8 x64.

I just purchased this game and have the exact same problem of the window re-sizing, but the game not launching.
Once I force-close the process, the window resolution goes back to normal..

Windows 7 64-bit.

I'm having the same issues, and don't have any third party software of that point running afaik. I"ll try a more indepth scan through processes and what not after work, but it is really frustrating that it's such a pain to make work. Is there a new patch or anything in the pipe so people don't have to do so much effort to play it?

Same here. I have tried it on two computers running windows 7, closed all processes that people suggested might be interfering. The game still doesn't do anything other than mess up my resolution.

I solved this problem on my windows 8.1 computer by going into task manager, going to details, right clicking on KoDP and click on analyze wait chain. then I ended any processes in that wait chain and it start to work fine. I hope this works for everyone else!

I solved the problem too. How? I did nothing, the only thing I ticked is "Run as an Administrator" (might try to force it to run windowed at 640x480), BUT I closed the Gamestop App (the Impulse Driven app for Gamestop's digital games) and everything worked like a charm for me.

Mine was having problems after installing also. I closed Chrome and other things I could think and nothing. Restarted my computer and now it works fine (even having it showing on steam as a non-steam game). I have Chrome running, steam, and a few other things with it working. - Windows 8.1

Old, but still relevant. Got this game from the summer sale and couldn't get it to work. The problem (For me) was that some Amazon processes, music in particular, will stop the game from launching. Close them in task manager and it might work for you.

Yep, can't get mine working either. The thing is, several months ago it was working just fine!

I have 7 64-bit home.
