Hi all,

We've updated the Windows and Mac installers for The Journeyman Project: Pegasus Prime.

Please make sure you have the following installers:

Windows:

setup_the_journeyman_project_pegasus_prime_2.2.0.5.exe

Mac:

the_journeyman_project_1_pegasus_prime_2.1.0.11.dmg

What's changed?

One big new semi-hidden feature is the addition of the Arthur A.I. from the sequels. from the sequels. It can be triggered during the first visit to the food replicator and then clicking it while holding the "E" key.

Thanks and have a nice day :)
The Arthur addon is awesome !
Re-playing Pegasus Prime with Arthur does indeed give it a very different vibe. :)

The "E" key is also the modifier key for activating other easter eggs hidden throughout the rest of the game. In fact, look for it in the Interface Overview for yet another message from Arthur.
That's weird. I can't get this easter egg mentioned in the OP. In fact, while E is being held it doesn't even seem like the game is registering any clicks.

Which version of the app are you running?
What I assumed to be the latest - I downloaded/installed it on the 9th of April. Where would I find the version number? I couldn't see anything in the game itself, but the details tab of the properties gives 1.7.0.0 as the file version and 1.7.0git as the product version. It looks like that might be referring to the ScummVM version though.

Hmm, I did install it through the Galaxy Client if that's pertinent...
Have you reassigned or remapped any game controls while Pegasus Prime is running?

Nope, in fact I hadn't even touched the remapping interface until just now when I went to check if anything was remapped. Weirdly, every single control just shows a dash in this interface. Does that just mean that the default mapping persists?

I don't know if this is important, but UK keyboards are subtly different from US keyboards. The E key is in the same place though. Is there a really specific place on the food replicator you have to click while holding E? Just trying to work out if I was just doing it wrong or not.
You can Google for YouTube demos to see how Arthur and other easter eggs are triggered if you're not sure that you're doing it correctly (spoiler alert).
I'm not sure why this update only appeared in my Account list today, but it'd be nice if the download page would say "New" next to what changed like it used to.

Hmm, well according to Youtube I was doing it right... it just won't work.

Aside from the hidden Arthur feature, here are the updates as listed on the official website at thejourneymanproject.com:

* The saved game dialog now checks to prevent the use of illegal filename characters for saved game titles.
* The Shield biochip has been fixed so that the game no longer quits upon entering the shuttle at the Morimoto Mars Colony.
* Other biochip bugs, such as not being able to access the mission biochips at TSA and AI hints at the Caldoria Heights rooftop observatory, have been fixed.
* For users who prefer to use the keypad on extended keyboard configurations, alternate access to the inventory and biochip panels have been remapped to the 7 and 9 keys to avoid issues with legacy use of the clear & num-lock keys. (see included documentation for additional details)
For whatever reason the left mouse button will not work when E is pressed down. However since the enter key is the same function as the left mouse button, E + Enter works just fine.

We'll have our programmers look into this....do you happen to be using a UK or other non-U.S. keyboard?
