This looks like this may be the spiritual successor to Silent Storm. I loved that game. I have every version of it. I would love another adventure like the one in Silent Storm... Count me in!

I don't think this game has anything in common with Silent Storm aside from alternate history setting. It's even alternate WWI, not WWII. It's much more closer to Company of Heroes, it's an Real-Time Strategy, while Silent Storm is Turn-Based Tactics with RPG elements.

But about the setting - it's certainly captivating and made with love and attention to detail. If you liked Silent Storm for it's setting, you might very well enjoy this one. Just FYI.
It is the same setting as Scythe however. Which is a board game that has a digital version too on PC. I had kind of hoped that this would have a turn based campaign mode set on a similar map. Alongside the real time battles. Maybe for a future expansion i hope.

Thanks for your reply, I've seen a bit more of the game since my post and as you mentioned it's definitely not Silent Storm. It still looks interesting to me but I've adjusted my hopes away from a Silent Storm sequel or remake. Also I agree it does seem more like Company of Heroes which is a good game but not really what I was hoping for. With that said I'm still going to pick this up because mech's + alternate history = Awesome in my book.

Great! Really glad to hear it, this game needs all the support it can get, it's a labor of love and devs will be continuously supporting it in the future. I'm sure you read some reviews already and know that there might be some issues. From my experience they are not as bad (didn't encounter any bugs, the cover mechanic works just fine for me and so on). But be ready for some... lack of some level of polish. It's a bit rough, but it's a diamond in the rough, with time it will become fukken awesome.
