As the title suggest, I'm looking for games (doesn't have to be RPGs) that share the same dark, plot around every corner, medieval and religious themes. Any ideas ?

Daemonica perhaps. If I recall right it's the same company that created Inquisitor and may well also hold the same people too. I'm not too sure about religious themes but it's dark and it has a similar feel to the whole investigation.

About the price GG offers a "inform me when it's on a promo", you could add it to your account and buy it when it's cheaper.

I found this and I can't believe I haven't played it myself but it could be something: Gorasul Legacy of the Dragon

I doubt it involves many religious themes and it seems more like Baldur's Gate in its epic fantasy or hero fantasy but it seems to become darker the more you play but that's just a hunch. The problem is it's a tough job to find it, legally or illegal. I don't think it's available as a digital version and it may have several compatibility issues with later hardware and OS.

I bought it myself recently. Haven't tried it yet though.

Actually finished it not too long ago, good story but awful gameplay pacing. It doesn't even compare with Inquisitor.

- The cat lady - dark story, impressive and interesting

- Shadow of colossus if u own ps2 or have strong pc and play with emulator.

-Gothic series- dark atmosphere, religious enough since plot involves gods.

-heroes of might and magic dark messiah (pretty dark atmosphere imo)

-Necromania (maybe)

-Sanitarium

-vampire masquerade redemption (it have religious plot)

Darklands - very old though...

Totally agree about Darklands, in fact, I think the devs of Inquisitor must have played it based on Inquisitor features, it's the same with Explorations: Conquistador, lots of Darklands idea's in it!
