I feel your pain. I've been putting off playing it, hoping someone would figure it out.
I don't get it. The original game has these handmade, prerendered graphics, mostly they don't scroll right to left (though a few screens do). What should a "widescreen" version show on the sides?

It's like asking for The Starry Night in 16:9... sorry, van Gogh is dead.

I think you are speaking of the advenure games Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis or Indiana Jones an the Last Crusade but the guys above talk about Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb which is a 3D game.

Btw. I'm interested in a solution for running the game in my native widescreen resolution too ;)

Holly molly, thank you so much for this. I bought this the other day and have been trying to figure out how to stop the screen from stretching will try this out tonight when i get home.
2019 still working!!!
Its the real deal!!!
Thanks!!!
Personally I'm cool with the games native resolution, and Win10 was able to render it I think in 16 x 9 using the NVDIA control panel.

I don't need ultra wide, even though I have an ultra wide monitor, and Super Wide just seems way over the top.
It's not more there on wgsf. :-/

Copy all content from this archive - in the game folder(GameData\bin\), depending on the desired resolution.

This is everything what is there. :-/

I upscaled and cropped the movies to 16:9 @ 1920x1080 for use with Emperor's Tomb using widescreen monitors.

Available here:https://drive.google.com/file/d/1x4NL2CtBXt7yxGlO4gmoW_yfC7y48BvP/view?usp=sharing

Just overwrite the movies in the game folder with these ones after you have applied the widescreen patch for 1920x1080

closer1000: This isn't going to be very helpful because I can't remember how I managed to do it, but through some hex editing and cfg altering and some dx8 to dx9 converting, I somehow managed to get the game to play in 3840 x 2160 with correct aspect ratio. But this was like two years ago and I didn't backup whatever it is I did. It had some glitches like this (text wasn't centered), but it played fine. I'm going to try to tinker around with it and see what I can find. I may have even used some files from The Collective's other game, Marc Eckō's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure from Steam which uses the same engine and has been updated to allow HD resolutions.
i know u never posted again, but did u ever happen to remember?? i was contemplating on adjusting the aspect ratio in hex but i have no clue what to look for and cant find any YT videos explaining how to find aspect ratio in hex.
