Neither Imp 1 or Imp 2 are working in Windows 10. I've tried every available compatibility setting, with no luck. Anyone had success with these games and Win 10? Thanks.

Same problem here.
I have the same problem.
Anyone found a way to get them going?
I've got the same problem. Nothing shows in logs, game seems eats up CPU but there is no sign of any window popping up.
Same here, I'll wait for few days before requesting a refund

This exactly- Imp 1 seems to use more cpu than Imp 2, but neither of them are accessing anything on the disk according to resource monitor. Windows 10 said it needed to install directplay, but it had the same issues before and after that installed. Using 64 bit.
Yup, just bought the 1+2 pack today. No joy. Tried fiddling with compatibility setting and such, no luck.
Same here, doesn't work with Windows 10.
I got the same problem. Will it be fixed?

I got some feedback on this via customer support.

Imperialism 1 is incompatible with Windows 10.

Imperialism 2: Please go to the game installation folder (default: C:\GOG Games\Imperialism II). Once in there find and rename winmm.dll to _winmm.dll. Start the game using Launch Imperialism II - Age of Exploration shortcut file.

That worked for me.

The same trick also works for Imperialism 1, and you can launch it normally from the galaxy launcher. Thanks for the info!

Imperialism 2 should be fixed now in Windows 10. Please redownload the installer, make sure it has "2.1.0.5" in the filename, uninstall the game, and reinstall it using the new installer :)
