You can't change the volume in the game options, and if you try to delete or rename the MUSIC folder or its contents the game refuses to start.

Does anyone know how I can get rid of the music, but keep the in-game sounds?

EDIT: ok, I finally solved it. You have to change the track number in the menu to 1. Since there is no track with that number, no music plays. Yay!

You can disable the music by either:

1) Commenting the imgmount line out in dosbox_igni_single.conf by adding # in front of it.
#imgmount d "..\game.ins" -t iso -fs iso

or

2) Add this line to the dosbox_igni_single.conf file before maindos.exe.
MIXER CDAUDIO 0:0
This changes DOSBox's internal mixer to give any CD Audio tracks 0% volume on both left and right channel (0-100, L:R)
